  • NORKOR/NUCLEAR VOA 18 Apr 2003 -- North Korea said Friday it is successfully reprocessing thousands of spent fuel rods at its main nuclear plant. The news, reported by the official Korean Central News Agency, comes only days before planned international talks on North Korea's nuclear moves.
  • U-S / NORTH KOREA VOA 18 Apr 2003 -- U-S officials say plans are going ahead for three-way U-S-North Korean-Chinese talks in Beijing on North Korea's nuclear program next week. The plans are moving forward despite a claim from Pyongyang Friday that it is reprocessing spent fuel rods at its reopened nuclear reactor complex.
