TEXT: CLINTON LETTER TO CONGRESS, SUSPENDING TITLE III OF LIBERTAD ACT
(Clinton extends suspension of Title III for another six months) (220) WASHINGTON -- The White House has announced that President Clinton sent a letter to Congress on January 14, declaring that implementation of Title III of the Libertad Act (also known as the Helms-Burton Act) should be suspended for an additional six months beyond February 1, 1999.
