China, Vietnam to hold 39th joint patrol in Beibu Gulf: Chinese Defense Ministry

A vessel formation of the Chinese and Vietnamese navies will conduct the 39th joint patrol in the Beibu Gulf waters from Wednesday to Thursday in accordance with the relevant agreements and arrangements between the two militaries, the Chinese Defense Ministry announced in a statement on Tuesday.
This will further strengthen practical cooperation between the two militaries and enhance their capability to jointly safeguard the security of the relevant waters, the ministry said.
