47th Chinese naval escort taskforce makes technical stop in Seychelles

VICTORIA, Seychelles, Aug. 25 -- From August 19 to 23, the guided-missile frigate Honghe (Hull 523) attached to the 47th Chinese naval escort taskforce made a technical stop at Port Victoria in Seychelles for a five-day replenishment and rest.
More than 200 people, including the Chief of the Seychelles Defense Forces as well as representatives of the Seychellois military, staff of the Chinese Embassy in Seychelles, Chinese-funded institutions, and local overseas Chinese, came to welcome the frigate at the dock.
After the frigate docked, representatives of the Seychellois military and the welcoming crowd boarded the ship in batches for a visit.
The Seychellois military invited the sailors of the frigate Honghe for traditional cultural exchanges. The two sides promoted mutual understanding, enhanced cooperation, and deepened friendship through the exchanges.
