Taipei, Dec. 7 (CNA) China test-fired a Dongfeng-31A intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) again on Nov. 30, according to an article on the Beijing-based huanqiu.com website.
The posting quoted the Washington Free Beacon as saying that it was the second time that China has test-fired the multi-warheaded DF-31A missile since August this year.
The latest test-firing signified China's growing strength in strategic nuclear arsenal, the Washington-based website said.
It also quoted analysts as saying that the latest DF-31A test-firing was likely aimed at supporting the Chinese military's hard-nosed stance toward the United States.
The DF-31A missile, with a range of over 5,000 kilometers, can carry five warheads, the report said.
