
Minsk hosts coordination meeting on IFF operating under the Council of Ministers of Defence of the CIS States

On 19 September in Minsk, the Central House of Officers of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus hosted a coordinating conference on the organisation of the use of the united system for radar-based friend-or-foe identification operating under the Council of Ministers of Defence of the States members of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
The meeting was attended by the Secretariat of the Council of Defence Ministers of the CIS member States and representatives of the Armed Forces of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, the attendees discussed issues related to the development of the Unified System of State Radar Identification, the improvement of the regulatory legal framework for military cooperation and the training of specialists.
Following the meeting, the complex group of armed forces representatives began the 22 September inspection of the practical issues of the organization of the use of means of the state identification system in the military units and subdivisions of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus.
