Chinese FM spokesperson comments on US-Australia critical minerals agreement targeting China

Asked to comment on an agreement on critical minerals targeting China, signed by the US President Donald Trump and the Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Guo Jiakun said on Tuesday that the formation of the global production and supply chain is a result of market forces and corporate choices. "Countries with key mineral resources should play an active role in ensuring the security and stability of the industrial and supply chains, maintaining normal economic and trade cooperation," Guo said.
