Soviet New Year's/Orthodox Xmas and October Revolution Cards
Another New Year's postcard issued in 1968 that depicts a manned spacecraft outside of Earth orbit. Despite the labeling on the spaceship of "Earth-Venus," of special notice is the pentagonal emblem on the Moon (probably representing the Luna 9 soft landing, as well as other Soviet lunar surface achievements), made even more prominent by its red color backed by a blue-black backing.
