Soviet New Year's/Orthodox Xmas and October Revolution Cards
New Year's postcard issued in late 1968 that depicts a spacecraft leaving Earth orbit. The building with the red star on top represents the Spaaskiy gate in the Kremlin, and that the space vehicle is getting its impetus from that symbol. Of special note is the hammer and sickle symbol on the craft, and a full red-encircled Moon on the upper left. This author feels that this specific representation might have been let in anticipation of a circumlunar mission by the end of 1968.
