Soviet agitprop poster

This poster here was issued in Moscow in late 1968. There is no directly related lunar motif, but nonetheless the poster is significant in that the text (shaped like rocket fins on either side of the cosmonaut's body) states: "With Bravery to the Stars; No Obstacles to Heroism." During this timeframe after the Soyuz 1 tragedy, with Soviet engineers gearing up for a manned circumlunar attempt, such an agitprop poster would have aided in morale-boosting. Of additional note is that the cosmonaut's bearing--straight and tall, marching towards glory-- and the "flinging upward" of the launched rocket indicates that Soviet goals in space would be achieved no matter the perceived problems via the best efforts of all in the Soviet space industry.
