Soviet agitprop poster
A specially produced poster for the Zond 6 mission that was presented to flight surgeon Oleg Bychkov in Moscow. On the left, the caption reads "10-17 November. Station Zond 6. Flight and Surface-photography of the Moon." On the right, it reads "Controlled recovery to Earth." The poster is signed by Pavel Belyayev, Valentina Tereshkova, and Gherman Titov. (Bychkov was an investigator for many Earth-bound experiments dealing with the cosmonaut cadre's preparedness for orbital travel at Star City.) Soon after Zond 6's return, the cosmonauts training for circumlunar missions wrote and signed a joint letter to the Central Committee/Politburo requesting approval for a manned lunar mission in December 1968.
