3S Shipborne Receiver (U)
(U) The 3S Receiver is a shipborne GPS Receiver used by the Navy and on some Army vessels.

(U) The 3S receiver is significantly larger than the 3A. However, it is very similar functionally to the 3A. It has five channels and contains features that enhance its ability to support shipboard requirements for Navy surface ships and submarines, as well as a small number of Army vessels.
