2nd Space Launch Squadron - Titan Flight

Titan Flight, 2nd Space Launch Squadron, integrates pad activities and conduct launch operations to ensure safe, reliable, and timely launches of Titan II and Titan IV launch vehicles.

The flight:

• Ensures all resources are available and ready when needed to support launch operations;
• Reviews and approves countdown procedures and integrated processing schedules;
• Evaluates launch system modifications to assess impact on operations and procedures;
• Tracks hardware issues from factory to launch;
• Responsible for spacecraft, booster, and facility processing during operations tasks:
  • Conduct fonal Integrated System Test; and
  • Executes launch countdown procedures
• Verifies and complies with launch "Go/No-Go" decision criteria for all booster, satellite and facility systems supporting launch.
