21st Support Group [21st SPTG]
The 21st Support Group provides services, personnel, civil engineering, security, and communications support to squadrons operating worldwide to execute their missile warning and space control missions.
The group is also responsible for personnel, security, communications, services, and civil engineering services for Peterson Air Force Base, including the headquarters of North American Aerospace Defense Command, United States Space Command, and Air Force Space Command, as well as numerous tenant units.
The 21st SPTG makes sure the base runs smoothly and effectively. It pays the bills, makes sure the base stays secure, oversees the telephone services, keeps the facilities in good condition, keeps the records and takes care of the well-being of all the people stationed in the Peterson Complex.
The 21st Support Group is composed of the 21st Mission Support Squadron, the 21st Security Forces Squadron, 21st Services Squadron, 21st Civil Engineering Squadron and the 21st Communications Squadron.
