• Chinese mainland reports 101 new local confirmed COVID-19 cases People's Daily 25 Jul 2022 -- The Chinese mainland on Sunday reported 101 locally-transmitted confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 34 in Sichuan, 24 in Gansu and 22 in Guangxi, the National Health Commission said Monday.
• China's COVID-19 vaccines safe, effective People's Daily 25 Jul 2022 -- The COVID-19 vaccines produced by China are safe and effective, according to health officials and experts attending a press conference held by the State Council joint prevention and control mechanism against COVID-19 on Saturday.
• Community transmission chain of Omicron subvariant BA.2 in Shenzhen has not been cut: local health authority Global Times 25 Jul 2022 -- The community transmission chain of the latest COVID-19 flare-up in Shenzhen, South China's Guangdong Province, since July 15 has not been cut. The viral gene sequencing completed on all the infections showed that they have the Omicron subvariant BA.2, the local health commission announced on Sunday.

• COVID - 19 Vaccination Update - Day 556 India PIB 25 Jul 2022 -- India's COVID-19 vaccination coverage has crossed 202.46 Crore (2,02,46,98,856) today. More than 27 lakh (27,74,345) Vaccine Doses have been administered till 7 pm today. The daily vaccination tally is expected to increase with the compilation of the final reports for the day by late tonight.
• Update on COVID-19 Vaccine Availability in States/UTs India PIB 25 Jul 2022 -- The Union Government is committed to accelerating the pace and expanding the scope of COVID-19 vaccination throughout the country. The nationwide COVID 19 vaccination started on 16th January 2021. The new phase of universalization of COVID-19 vaccination commenced from 21st June 2021. • Taiwan records two new domestic BA.5 subvariant cases CNA 25 Jul 2022 -- Taiwan has recorded two new domestic cases of the Omicron subvariant BA.5, involving a man who was infected by a family member returning from overseas, and a shipyard employee whose source of infection is unknown, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) said Monday.
