The list of identified units in II CTZ shows 8 infantry and 6 sapper battalions formed through Jan 1968. MACV intelligence showed 15 VC maneuver battalions in II CTZ in Jan 1968. This would indicate that almost all battalions formed by that date are identified identified. Later formations include 4 infantry and 2 sapper battalions.
