Shepetiv Repair Plant

State enterprise "Shepetiv Repair Plant" [Shepetivskii Remontnii Zavod] is one of the leaders in its field. The factory carries out major repairs of weapons and military equipment, manufactures spare parts, technological equipment and special tools, sets of covers, awnings, bags, belts, wooden and metal closures for most samples of missile and artillery weapons. The enterprise employs 550 people, the average wage at the plant is slightly more than 6 thousand hryvnias.

The main activity of the enterprise is the fulfillment of the state order of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine for the repair of weapons and military equipment, the fulfillment of contractual obligations for the repair and production of products for both military and general technical purposes.

In the 7 main workshops of the plant, the overhaul of 126 samples of missile and artillery weapons has been mastered, of which the company is a monopoly on 36 types of products. BM-21 "Grad" salvo missile systems, 9P140 combat vehicles and 9T452 ??? ???? "Uragan" are being restored here; self-propelled artillery installations 2C7 "Peony", 2C3M "Acacia", 2C5 "Hyacinth-S", 2C19 "Msta-S"; artillery fire control machines; artillery and mortars, means of commanding troops; complexes of anti-tank guided missiles and military devices.

The plant also has experience in the repair of weapons and military equipment, the production of spare parts and special tools for foreign customers, as well as training specialists in the repair of missile and artillery weapons. The enterprise can provide maintenance and repair services for missile and artillery weapons directly at the customer's premises by specialized on-site teams. Training and training of weapons repair specialists is carried out at the enterprise.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman, during a working trip to Khmelnytskyi region, on 26 January 2017, visited the SE "Shepetivsky Repair Plant", where he inspected the company's products, the galvanic equipment shop and the shop where military equipment is repaired, including from the ATO zone.

The Shepetiv repair plant is part of the Ukrooboronprom state concern, during the war in the east of the country it repaired 1,061 weapons, including 321 units by field brigades. Since 2014, the brigades have been making trips to military units and restoring equipment and weapons used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in ATO.

In total, according to the management, 126 samples of missile and artillery weapons were being repaired at the enterprise in seven different workshops. The plant is a monopolist in many types of products. According to the director of the plant Oleg Turinskyi, the BM-21 "Grad" and 9P140 "Uragan" salvo missile systems are being restored here; self-propelled artillery installations 2C3M "Acacia", 2C5 "Hyacinth-S", 2C19 "Msta-S"; artillery fire control machines; artillery and mortars, means of commanding troops; complexes of anti-tank guided missiles and military devices.

The forces of the plant, other companies participating in the concern and private Ukrainian manufacturers replaced hundreds of names of components. Among them are sighting systems, guidance systems, electronic equipment and fire systems for self-propelled artillery installations, rocket launchers and howitzers.

"The Grad anti-aircraft missile system, known for its effectiveness, received Ukrainian sights and impulse units. Long-range howitzer D-30 - shutter wedge, lifting and turning mechanisms. Particular attention was paid to the installation of modern digital protected radio stations on each machine," said the director of the enterprise Oleg Turinskyi.

By December 2021 SE "Shepetivsky Remontny Zavod" was in a state of suspension and will be reorganized. The founder of the Shepetiv enterprise, State Concern "UkrOboronProm", entered the corresponding decision in the register on December 24, 2021. The successor is the legal entity State Enterprise of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine "Shepetiv Repair Plant". Claims of creditors are considered until February 23, 2022.

At the same time, the company actively sells scrap metal and illiquid assets that have not been used in production for a long time. "UkrOboronProm" even joyfully reported that the largest number of participants was observed at the auctions for the sale of motor vehicles at the Shepetivskyi Remontny Zavod SE - 19.

"Today, the sale of illiquid state property takes place through open auctions on Prozorro.Sales. Property that has not been involved in the production of enterprises participating in the Concern for a long time, but the implementation of which makes it possible, for example, to technically re-equip existing facilities, purchase new equipment or improve the working conditions of employees, etc. Thanks to the sale of such property in a transparent and competitive way, our enterprises manage to increase the value of illiquid assets by three times, as was the case at auctions for the sale of motor vehicles: more participants will come to the auctions - more income will be received by the enterprises", said Ukroboronprom's director of procurement Roman Avramov.
