"Metalist" Balakliya Ship Repair Plant
The state-run MOD enterprise - Plant "Metalist" is focused on overall current and medium maintenance (in docks) of the surface battle ships, diesel submarines and 2000 tonnage vessels, namely: small rocket ships, small anti-submarine ships, medium and small amphibious ships, trawlers, rocket and artillery boats, auxiliary vessels (models 1241.1, 1241.2, 205P, 206ÌR, 1400, 1265, 266Ì)The plant was established in 1939.

Military assistance line:
Production:
- 30 tonnage small-scale ships.
Major overhaul:
- Ì-50- type major and auxiliary diesel engines of any modification;
- Ì-401, Ì-845, Ì-848, Ì-849, 3D6, 7D6-type engines.
Repair:
- Battle ships, boats and auxiliary vessels up to 2000 tonnage;
- Any kind of vessel ground-outboard concrete reinforcement;
- Hydraulic and automatic vessel systems;
- Vessel units automatic and remote control systems;
- Vessel pieces of equipment (refrigerating machines, any modification pumps, compressed air plants).
Civil output:
- Up to 5-kilowatt power electronic engines repair.
Military Technical facilities:
- Vessel maintenance procedures;
- Technical personnel assistance support;
- Specialists' maintenance groups support.
