Kharkov Air Force Institute
Education and training of the qualified personnel for Air Force is performed by a number of the high educational institutions of Ukraine. The primary military school in the Kharkov Air Force Institute established in July, 1992 on the basis of several military schools. Today it trains pilots, navigators, combat command and airfield support experts for the military aviation of Ukrainian. In November, 2000 by the Decree of the President of Ukraine the Kharkov Air Force Institute was given name of the thrice Hero of the Soviet Union Marshal of the Aviation Kozhedub who graduated from this Institute.
