The World of Yesterday Museum
In order to fully utilize the space of the Taipei Municipal Zoo that was transferred to Mucha, the Preparation Office of the Taipei Municipal Children's Recreation Center was established to make integrated planning for the center. The World of Yesterday was completed on 24 December 1990 and opened to the public on 01 January 1991. The World of Yesterday is presented on the transformation of dynasties. It goes far back to the ancient Shennon and up to modern Taiwan farmers. By imitating the ancient construction the most representative traditional culture are presented to the visitors in still or mobile ways. Visitors are allowed to understand Chinese traditional culture through visit and actual practice.
