PRB-36 "Šabac" Degaussing vessel (YDG)
The auxiliary river ship PRB-36 "Šabac" was built in the Belgrade shipyard "Brodotehnika" in the period from September 10, 1981 to April 9, 1984, under the development code RSRB-KB. On April 20, 1984, the ship was introduced into the fleet list of ships in operational use in the River Flotilla.
(Serbian: PRB - Pomocni recni brod) Built at Brodotehnika Shipyard, Belgrade in 1984 under development code RSRB (Recna stanica za razmagnetisanje brodova) or Vessel Degaussing River Station. Used to degauss river vessels up to a length of 50 meters. Aluminum was used to build the ship. The displacement is 115.8 tons, length 32.20 m, width 7.05 m, height 3.30 m and draft 1.335 m. The PRB-36 "Šabac" is powered by two 192 kW diesel engines, with a top speed of 22 km/h. The sailing distance is 1,326 km, with 10-day autonomy. It has the ability to deploy 100 soldiers with full war equipment and is served by 17 crew members.
The armament of the PRB-36 “Šabac” consists of two M-71/I 20-mm single-barreled cannon and a four-barrel light air defence missile system “Strela-2M”. The ship is equipped with: navigation radar "Decca 1216A", depth gauge "D-14", gyro "S-12", radio teleprinter device "RTU-100/M", radio transceiver "RUP-12M", radio “Marconi”, radio telephone “UKT FM 66/17” and equipment and devices for controlling and de-magnetizing ship magnetism.
