Kamov V-100
In the mid 1970s, Kamov developed a project of the V- 100 combat helicopter which featured a number of unique technological solutions. The V-100 was an advanced heavy attack helicopter project by Kamov from the early 1980s. The V-100 design had rotors on the tips of a wing, and a pusher propeller to exceed the speed of 400km/h. The helicopter was to be armed with 3000kg of bombs and rockets, two machine-guns and two anti-ship or anti-radar missiles.
The design of the combat rotorcraft V-100 with a transverse arrangement of rotors and an additional thrust rotor was developed, which was distinguished by a high degree of novelty of the adopted scientific and technical solutions. Unfortunately, neither development was destined to be embodied in metal.
This project is very poorly attested, apart from a few museum models and photographs.
