S-16 (S-86)
In addition to supersonic aircraft, in the Design Bureau named after P.O.Sukhoi developed subsonic aircraft. In the early 1990s, Sukhoi considered the possibility of establishing at the Tbilisi Aerospace Manufacturing Company (TAM) serial production of a small passenger and multi-purpose aircraft S-16 (S-86), a draft of which was developed at the Sukhoi Design Bureau. The S-86 lightweight administrative aircraft was for 6-8 passengers with a twin, high-altitude turboshaft engine with a free turbine and a common gearbox. The maximum power on the propeller shaft with two engines running is 1100 hp, and with one engine running - 700 hp Cruising speed - 400 km/h.
