Jamaah Anshorul Syariat (JAS)

Jamaah Anshorul Syariat (Community of the Sharia Helpers; JAS) was created in 2014 following Ba’asyir’s pledge of loyalty to ISIS. The majority of the then JAT leadership objected not only to Ba’asyir’s decision but also to his failure to consult with them before taking such a step. Muhammad Achwan, the acting JAT head during Ba’asyir’s incarceration, along with two of Ba’asyir’s sons, Abdul Rahim and Abdul Roshid, led a mass resignation from JAT and the setting up of JAS. The vast majority of JAT’s members crossed to JAS, meaning that the latter has now eclipsed JAT as a center of hardline Islamist activity. A central plank of JAS’s platform is its rejection of al-Baghdadi’s Islamic state.

Some JAT activists rejected ISIS, then broke away and formed a new organization called Jamaah Ansharut Syariah (JAS). On August 11, 2014, a number of former board Jamaah Ansharut Tauhid (JAT) declared the establishment of a new organization called Jemaah Ansharusy Sharia (JAS). According to sources from the Qibla to explain despite having initiated since the 20th of Ramadan 1435 H ago, pilgrims led by Ustadz Muhammad Achwan was formed as respond to the disagreements were related to the issue of caliphate declared ISIS. The establishment of JAS was motivated because it responds to the difference of opinion that happened to JAT members in responding to the phenomenon of claim of Islamiyah Khilafah by ISIS. Abu Bakar Ba'asyir decided that all JAT members who reject the Khilafah ( ISIS ) claims must leave Jamaah and are no longer in JAT.

Jamaat Sharia is Ansharusy jama 'ah minal Muslims formed and moved to practice the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad in the congregation and sought to enforce Dienullah on earth, especially in the state of this archipelago. Thus, the merger of the individual or community of Muslims in Jama'ah Ansharusy Shari'a is equal to the applicable law in the Muslim Jama'atul syar'i. This means that the entrance and exit of individuals and the Muslim community in the congregation of Muslims can not be applied to him during the Caliphate. And more importantly, it is not possible with valid membership for pilgrims to suffer cancellation of individual Islamic Muslim community.

Ansharusy Shari'ah Jama'ah seeks to hold fast to the Shariah Values sourced from the Qur'an and As Sunnah, in harmony with the understanding of Salafus Sholeh along with Syar'iyyah rules that firmly according to the school of Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama'ah. Nevertheless, the Shariah Jamaat Ansharusy entitled to apply the rules in a management discipline jama'ahnya to provide the basis for the leaders and congregation members in order to realize a regularity and a good arrangement of congregation and sturdiness. They believe that Islam Dienul taught his people to be able to reap the love of God Almighty through honest practices, neat, orderly and robust.
