Palestine National Fund (PNF)
The PNF is the Palestinian national treasury. In 2001, Jaweed Al Ghussein, then former head of the fund, was accused of not returning $6.5 million he allegedly borrowed from the PNF. He was later detained in Abu Dhabi in April 2001 and extradited to Palestine at the request of the Palestinian Authority.
