Cantonment
While Karachi is the Pakistan Navy's main base, its second Naval port known as the Jinnah Naval Base, was under construction at Ormara, which by 2006 was partly complete and in use. The navy also has bases at Gawadar, Jiwani and Pasni. Before the opening of the new Jinnah Naval Base at Ormara, 250 kilometers away, Manora was the main base of Pakistan Navy.
