Distinctive Unit Insignia
The embroiderings of campaign sectors [bordados de sectores de campaña] are used by personnel, generals, heads, officials, cadets and troops in the uniforms of campaign with the intention of indicating the unit, dependency, installation or military establishment to which he belongs. Cotton, green olive tree and camuflajeado forest for the personnel of the Army and for the personnel of the Air Force are embroidered in black thread on fabric sarga poliésternylon/; the sectors in the desert camuflajeado uniform are solely embroider in coffee thread. The embroiderings of sectors can be of rectangular form with completion in end, rectangular with round completion, circular and triangular. The perimeter of the sector is embroidered with the thread on fabric similar to the one of the uniform where it is used.
The rectangular with round completion and circular sectors take in their part superior a strip of 15 millimeters in width with the complete or brief words of the respective organization; immediately, in the central part and of a proportional size the shield is placed. In the circular sectors a peripheral strip of 15 millimeters in width is embroidered in which the complete or brief name of the corresponding organization is embroidered. The shields or schemes are authorized by the Secretariat of the National defense. The sectors are worn on the left sleeve of the uniforms, to the center and 20 millimeters of the edge superior of the same.


The embroiderings of sectors of colors [bordados de sectores de colores] are used by personnel of generals, heads, officials, cadets and troops in the totality of uniforms except those of campaign. They are similar in form, dimensions and embroidering to those of campaign sectors, being different itself solely in which they embroider themselves in thread with the distinguishing colors of the corresponding organ. The contour, colors and shield or scheme are authorized by the Secretariat of the National defense.
The distinguishing patches of neck [parches de cuello distintivos] of the arm, service or establishment of education military man are employed by the personnel of generals, heads, officials, troops and cadets with the campaign uniform and are of the same type of fabric that the one of the uniform. Cotton, green olive tree and camuflajeado forest for the personnel of the Army and in aerial blue color for the personnel of the Air Force, embroidered in black thread on fabric poliésternylon/; the patches of neck of the desert camuflajeado uniform solely embroider in thread coffee. For the generals they are of rhomboid form and have in the center an embroidered laurel like all the perimeter of the patch; for the heads, officials, cadets and troops they are of triangular form in whose part superior the distinguishing shield of the weapon, branch or service are embroidered as well as the corresponding perimeter.
The arrival of the 1st Army Corp [I CE - 1er. Cuerpo del Ejército] does not imply the presence of all their forces, in this case was only present 65º Battalion of Infantry. It does not imply either that it was the time first that appeared in the state of Chiapas. As it indicates this description, 1er. Symbols on Uniforms [Símbolos en los uniformes]

The symbols of many camps [símbolos tanto en campamentos] on the left arm of the uniforms, will have an abbrieviation along with their symbol of the type arms, in the following way:
- BI - Batallón de Infantería.
- RCM - Regimiento de Caballería Motorizada.
- RA - Regimiento de Artillería.
- BIC - Batallón de Ingenieros de Combate.
- CIC - Compañía de Ingenieros de Combate.
- CINE - Compañía de Infantería No Encuadrada.
- ICE - Primer Cuerpo del Ejército, en donde la "I" es un uno en número romano.
- Bgda Inf Indp - Brigada de Infantería Independiente.
- BPM - Brigada de Policía Militar.
- BT - Batallón de Transportes.
