Northeast Army

The Northeast direction general section is headquartered at the Sendai camp. The Northeast Army includes the 2nd artillery group (Sendai city), the 5th anti-aircraft artillery group (Yato city), 2nd facility group (the Miyagi prefecture Shibata Gun) and the northeast direction party directly controled unit.

The Northeast Army missions include disaster dispatch of northeast 6 prefectures (Aomori and Akita, Iwate and Yamagata, Miyagi, Fukushima), and national welfare cooperation and the like (processing, event support and education support of dangerous material).
