Turkomaneli Party

The Turkomaneli Party has proposed the expansion of the Governing Council to 100 members, to the effect of enhanced Turkoman proportional representation, as per the census of 1957 (which, presumably, accorded Turkomans greater demographic strength than a current census might). This group was critical of the Coalition Provisional Authority in Iraq. The party does not support federalism.
