Tikrit Airfield - South

FOB Packhorse FOB Remagen

Tikrit Airfield - South is located approximately 7 kilometers South of the city of Tikrit . The airfield is served by a 9,100 foot long runway, There are are no hardened aircraft shelters visable in the 1995 CIB imagery. The airfield probably serves civil air traffic and can be used by the military if necessary. Forward Operating Base (FOB) Remagen is located near the airfield.
