3rd Squadron
The 3rd Squadron of the New Iraqi Air Force is comprised of Comp Airs and Bell Jet Rangers, a gift from The United Arab Emirates. The 3rd squadron is slated to operate in a utility light transport role from 'New Al Muthana' - the West Baghdad International Airport Air Base.
As of July 2005, the 3rd Squadron was stationed at Kirkuk airbase.
