Fuel Transporter "Walchensee" class (703)
The main task of the Transportation Class 703 is fuel supply of German forces in the port and in the coastal waters. The vans are equipped for off-loading supply [Querabversorgung] to port and starboard. In addition, they are used to operating materials between depots and other welfare institutions of the Navy to transport. They are operated by a civilian crew.
