Schooner Type School Ship
With respect to the requirements of Turkish Naval Forces Command, acquisition of Schooner Type School Ships, in which the basic ship training and the practical training of naval officer candidates will be performed. The scope includes acquisition of 2 Schooner Type School Ships from Turkey, with construction at Turkish private shipyards.
A Request for Information was released on 28.01.2009. The Request for Proposal remained under preparation as of 21 December 2011.
