OPV-600 Multi-role Coast Guard vessel

The Multi-role Coast Guard vessel designed by RMK Marine has an overall length of 66 meters and a breadth of 10,5 meters. She has a full load displacement of 700 tones. The maximum speed of the ship is 28+ knots for the CODAD configuration. The main propulsion system consists of two diesel engines, two reduction gears, two shafts and two fixed or controllable pitch propellers. The maximum cruising range of the Multi-role Coast Guard ship is 2000 NM at an economical speed of 15 knots. The endurance of the ship is 14 days with a complement of 25 personnel.

The New Generation Multi-Role Patrol Vessel (OPV-600) designed by RMK Marine has the main functions of patrolling, surveillance and reconnaissance in order to provide law enforcement within the territorial waters and exclusive economic zones (EEZs). Having those capabilities, OPV-600 can fulfill also the tasks of anti-smuggling operations, protection of fisheries and maritime resources and anti-piracy operations. OPV-600 type patrol ship, with its specifically designed stern-ramp, Special Forces can be rapidly deployed with an organic RHIB. Secondary missions that can be fulfilled by a New Generation Multi-Role Patrol Vessel are search and rescue, intelligence gathering, disaster relief, humanitarian aid and training.
