ORP Goplo Minesweeper
The raising of the flag on the ORP Goplo took place on 13 March 1982. Ships of the upgraded version of the Project 207P (type "Lake Gardno.") minesweepers applied later-generation equipment, sweeping, and gunnery. The design formed the basis for the Project 207M clase Minesweepers (type "Lake Mamry") built in the yard of the Navy in Gdynia in the years 1991-1994. These units are designed to seek and destroy sea mines. The reduction of the magnetic field of the ship was achieved mainly thanks to the construction of the hull and deckhouses with laminated Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) .
