HAVASOJ Stand-Off Jammer Shadow Program
Remote Electronic Support and Electronic Attack (ED / ET) Capability Project (HAVASOJ - Air Stand Off Jammer) in the air platform - An air strike against the threatened countries will be carried out in the air platform with the possibility of integrating all kinds of radar and communication possibilities of the enemy without intruding into the threat zone, system. Air SOJ will be produced for the purpose of detecting and diagnosing enemy communication systems and radars (air defense, early warning, etc.), finding their location, and mixing and deceiving these systems in order not to use them against friendly elements, especially in cross-border operations.
Critical mission system components are designed and produced entirely by local means, and systems are integrated in various forms on the aircraft. The AIRPLANE to be used during the air operation will be capable of performing coordinated tasks with the ground support center at high altitude. The aircraft, which has the ability to detect and mix target elements from long distances, will also be able to detect and eliminate radar and missile threats. The ED / ET system is used to intercept and / or deceive the enemy's radar and communication facilities in the offensive air strike against the threatened countries without intruding into the threat zone.
Four companies were offered to the Shadow program initiated by the Undersecretariat for Defense Industries within the scope of the requirement of Turkish Air Forces Electronic Support (ED) - Electronic Attack (ET) system.
- Aselsan AS
- Duygu Havacilik Ve Devanma San. Tic. Inc.
- Savronik
- Tempus Applied Solutions LLC
In 2015 these four firms submitted proposals to the Shadow program initiated by the Defense Industry Undersecretary under the requirement of the Airborne Electronic Support (ED) - Electronic Offensive (ET) system of the Turkish Air Force. Companies offering bidding for the shadow program have been notified. The Remote ED / ET Capability Emergency Operations Jammer Procurement on the Air Platform was announced by the Undersecretariat for Defense Industries (SSM) with an urgent response.
Savronik was the second company in the short list of the competition, with a value for 2 x SOJ of approximately $ 250 million. The Bombardier Global Express business jet aircraft will be used for the HAVASOJ platform. Following this operation TC-GVA and TC-GVB aircraft were transferred to the Undersecretariat for Defense Industries. These aircraft are expected to make a variety of tests to develop an electronic system for attaching mixing tasks from the air by Aselsan.
