It seems that July 31, 2019 turned out to be a turning point around Trifonov and his team. Warming up since St. George's Day, Slavi was counting down the end of his show on bTV every day. The TV product became an emblem of the private media, and viewers knew that from Monday to Friday from 22:30 they could see everything. Politicians, world celebrities, folklore, close meetings with the common man, laughter, feathers, journalism, satire ... And an oppositional manner. To the end. Corruption is at all levels in the country, which destroys the development of the country. No politician has been convicted because the judiciary is not working and is in total collapse. Most Bulgarians in most cases prefer to avoid lawyers and courts, and the courts are considered unreliable, inefficient and corrupt. There is a lack of justice. The prosecutor's office is out of control and does whatever it wants. Monopolies rule in Bulgaria and business is trapped in political and oligarchic circles. Due to the schemes of power, young and educated people have no realization and leave the country. There is no real competitive environment for business development, which leads to many bankruptcies of small and medium enterprises.
Slavi Trifonov's party "There is such a people" will not work in the next parliament with the formations present in the present one. "We will work with parties, I hope, who come in - others, not those who are inside. Those of the status quo - somehow it is not moral, people we consider criminals and people we consider incompetent, to work with them", announced the deputy chairman of the party Toshko Yordanov on 11 February 2021 during an online meeting with the Bulgarian Startup Association.
Slavi Trifonov did not attend the meeting, but this is the first time that people involved in the preparation of the election program of "There is such a people" appeared on it. So far, the people familiar with the party are only the writers of Slavi, known from the TV screen.
"We will definitely not act as the current rulers do, that is, when we have a health crisis related to respiratory viral disease, medical advice, measures and actions should be given by people who deal with viruses and immunologists, not surgeons. This is also related to economics, which means that the team must also be backed by economists and financiers, because each measure costs money. Our health system needs to be reformed completely anyway", said Toshko Yordanov.
The election program itself will be presented after registration with the CEC. The party offers direct choice to the Attorney General. Promises tax incentives for start-ups. Its first task is for companies to be able to operate "without all those prerequisites for corrupt mechanisms, for things that can stop it." It also provides for the establishment of a special office with the rank of ministry to deal with innovation and research and development directly applicable in the real economy. Among the priorities is a comprehensive reform of the health system and a change in approach to dealing with the Covid crisis.
The electronic vote will allow each voter to vote quickly, easily and conveniently, will limit the possibility of influencing the vote and manipulating the results. More than 2 million Bulgarians living abroad will have a real opportunity to vote without being limited by their location, the number of polling stations and organizational problems on the ground. At present, the state administration in Bulgaria is a heavy bureaucratic machine. It needs to be reformed so that it works in the service of citizens and entrepreneurs. The employees in the administration must be provided with an opportunity for professional development and adequate remuneration. The civil servant must be competent, responsible and aware that working for society, he also works for himself.
PP Ima Such People believe that there are capable and talented Bulgarians to lead the country. The main goal is to completely transform this disastrous management model and put a new beginning in the country. More than 2,500,000 Bulgarians have made it clear in a national referendum that they want a change in the political system.
The surprise in the 2021 ranking is the high trust in "There is such a people", which surpasses even that in the BSP. The explanation here is that Slavi Trifonov's formation is centrist and receives sympathy from both the left and the right. Of course, the popularity of its leader also matters. Since "There is such a people" is a new party, it is likely that with its establishment in the public space the attitude towards it will be shaped. So far, only 50% of the high confidence is turning into electoral support.
After the scandals in Pleven and Burgas, where local leaders left with heavy revelations against the showman with political ambitions, now similar wars are breaking out in many other places in the country. There were also shocking revelations about the way he acted towards the members and the people who support him. That is why not only the coordinators, but also the activists left the showman's organizations from all over the country.
The screenwriters from Slavi Trifonov's team lead the lists of the party "There is such a people" in Sofia, Plovdiv, Burgas, Yambol, Haskovo, Smolyan and Silistra, it is clear from the currently published decisions of the regional election commissions.
On 27 Feburary 2021 Slavi Trifonov presented experts who will be among the main candidates for deputies in his political project. The Security Department was represented by Prof. Nikolay Radulov. He intends to pursue policies to audit the Ministry of Interior and special services and to maintain the motto "Security for All". All citizens will enjoy equal rights and protection from the services. Tsvetanka Voynova, Plamen Abrovski and Danail Naidenov are included in the Agriculture sector. A strong figure in the Energy Department is Ivan Hinovski, Chairman of the Bulgarian Energy and Mining Forum and Director of the energy consulting company ProEcoEnergy. He was Executive Director of NEK and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Kozloduy NPP. Along with him are Blagoy Golubarev and Teodora Peneva.
