Dynasty VII
7th Dynasty : no data available for kings of this dynasty or even their duration of power. Dynasties from 7-10 are considered ages of feudality and the route to wane, which led to social and economic deterioration later then followed by a social revolution. Literature enhanced in such age.
A group of 10 kings are recorded in the Abydos kinglist but are omitted in the Turin Canon of Kings (a Netjerkare [Abydos] = Neitiqerti [Turin]). Contemporary sources record the prenomens: Neferkare II . . . . . Sekhemkare . . . . . Wadjkare (sequence of rule uncertain).
