The First Brigade, based in Tunja, Boyacá department, is attached to the Second Division of the Army and has eight forward military units operating in 114 municipalities in Boyacá, Santander five and three of Cundinamarca. It consists of the following tactical units:

Low Operating Unit based in the city of Barranquilla, capital of the department of the Atlantic, attached to the First Army Division, was created in 1934 by Resolution No. 1691 of August 28. It has jurisdiction over the departments of Atlantico, Bolivar, Magdalena and South. It consists of the following units tactics:

The Third Brigade, attached to the Third Army Division, based in Cali, Valle del Cauca, and was created by Regulation No. 0004/2005, covering operationally municipalities in the departments of Valle del Cauca, Cauca and Chocó. It consists of the following taactical units:
