Zhoushan Naval Base

The port is located adjacent to Ningbo Port. The main port area is south of the Zhoushan Island. Zhoushan, a foreign trading port and an important comprehensive coastal port in Zhejiang province, is one of China's shipping juncture and a vital transshipment harbour for the coastal areas along the eastern part of Zhejiang province.
The port has shipping routes to foreign ports via the East China Sea, and has access to the railroad networks through Ningbo. Automobile ferries link the port to the mainland.
There are total 71 berths which include one berth of 200,000t Class, 5 berths of 10,000t Class and 13 berths of 1,000t Class.
The cargoes handled in port include coal, cement, aquatic products, timber, stones etc.
