TL-1 Anti-Ship Missile

China Aerospace Science and Industry Group dislayed models of the JJ/TL-1 and JJ/TL-2 anti-ship missiles in November 2008 at the 7th China Zhuhai Air Show. As the only international aerospace expo held in China, the China Air Show not only provides the general audience with an opportunity to get close to the world's cutting-edge weapons such as missiles, but also becomes a large stage for countries around the world to show their military strength and weaponry and technology level. The Chinese missile weapons exhibited at the biennial China Air Show are a concentrated display of the research and development achievements of China's weaponry and equipment technology at that stage.

Chinese JJ/TL-1 is a part of the Tian Long family of Air-to-Surface Antiship Missiles. First publicly shown in 2004 as the TL-10, which is the exported version of the missile, it was renamed TL-1 in 2008, and displayed with a rather different fin arrangement. The TL-2 can carry a 30kg warhead a range of 20km.
