Construction of the 910 Type 2 ship Li Siguang started in 2012, launched in November 2013, and entered service in October 2014. The main test direction of this type of test ship is in terms of underwater acoustic weapons, and the improvement of the navy's anti-submarine capability. In recent years, the great progress of the navy in the field of underwater acoustics is inseparable from the tremendous contributions made by these two test ships.
