Compared with the relay-type steering gear used in the avant-garde 1 and avant-18 , although the electric steering gear used in the avant-garde 19 is more expensive, its technical level is much higher, and the flight control of the electric steering gear is more scientific and reasonable, which can eliminate a considerable part of it. The unfavorable factors for the missile flight effectively improve the flight speed and accuracy of the missile, which is very beneficial for intercepting low-altitude small targets such as cruise missiles, armed helicopters, drones and guided bombs.
The avant-garde 1 and Avant 18 adopted a trigger fuze that can only be triggered if it hits the target, which requires a high accuracy of the missile's hit. There are some deviations, and the target can avoid disaster. It is not conducive to intercepting ultra-low-altitude small targets such as cruise missiles and drones. In response to this situation, the avant-garde 19 adopts a more advanced triggering of the Laser Proximity Fuze, can be accurately measured and determined by laser within a certain distance close to the target best kill range. Direct detonation greatly improves the hit rate and killing effect on small targets.
In addition, Qianwei 19 also forward-lookingly uses the missile initial guidance technology, which can guide the missile in the early stage after it is launched, and guide the missile to the incoming direction of the target , so that the missile does not need to do useless work and can be captured more quickly and effectively.
