4,500 meter AUV
The “4,500-meter deep-sea resources autonomous exploration system” (4,500 meters AUV) is one of the sub-projects of the National High-Tech Research and Development Technology (863 Program) “Submersible Technology and Equipment” major project. Its overall goal is to independently develop a set of 4500. The AUV system with deep water depth is used as a platform to integrate hydrothermal anomaly detection, micro-topography measurement, seabed photography and magnetic detection technology to form a practical deep sea detection system, train an equipment operation and maintenance team, and apply Exploration of deep-sea mineral resources such as polymetallic sulphides.
On the basis of laboratory research and development, indoor pool test, from November 3, 2014 to February 2, 2015, the 4,500-meter deep-sea resources autonomous exploration system research group (hereinafter referred to as the research group) carried out a total of 118 in Qiandao Lake, Hangzhou. The submerged lake test completed the system re-engineering, single performance test (sensor test, deployment and recovery test, submersible sport performance test, optical detection test, autonomous navigation and combined navigation performance test, magnetic detection test, collision avoidance functional test, micro-geomorphology detection and acoustic synchronization performance test) and partial comprehensive performance test (topographic and geomorphological detection test, secondary battery and maximum endurance test).
The results of the lake test show that the 4500m AUV design is scientific and reasonable, the electronic equipment works stably and reliably, and the operating procedures are feasible and effective, which can meet the overall design index requirements of the system.
