Piloto Pardo, transportation

The Piloto Pardo was a ship with a hull adapted for missions in Antarctica. Built in Haarlem, the Netherlands by N.V. Haarlemshe Scheepsbouw Maatschappij, placing her keel in stands on 01 October 1957, by contract on June 18, 1956. Released on July 11, 1958. The national flag was hoisted on April 7, 1959. He reached Valparaiso on March 12, 1959 and joined the Navy on 7 April 1959. Decommissioned by resolution C.J.A. Res. 4281 N on January 7, 1997.
