Iquique
The Iquique was a SAAR-3 class missile boat of the Navy of Israel were built by CMN Cherbourg, France in 1969. They represented the first class of missile boats built in the Western world. Seized by the French Government after the 6-day war, he eloped of Cherbourg by promoting an international incident between the two countries. He played important role in the Yom Kippur war and in action off the coast of Lebanon in the 1980s. Acquired from Israel in December 1988 and commissioned in the Navy of Chile on May 03, 1989. Withdrawn from service February 01, 2000.
