BRS-63 Ingeniero Slight
The former ship "Vigilant" of Dutch construction and English property, his name is a tribute to Scottish engineer, hired by Admiral Jorge Montt Álvarez, who built more than 70 lighthouses on the Chilean coast. Stands as a work of engineering the "Evangelists" Lighthouse on the islet of the same name, in whose construction was demonstrated ingenuity and technical capacity of its Builder, especially by the rustic thing of the chosen place. Incorporated into the service from the 5 February 1997 according to resolution C.J.A. N 4520/5 of 17 January 1997.
