    * - Bolivia has in the past and will no doubt continue to operate a significant number of riverine patrol craft with displacements of less than 20 tons, which are not listed here.

    1 - At least 5 such river patrol/transport craft have been operated by the Bolivian Navy since the 1980s-1990s, with displacements around 20-25 tons and likely not greater than 50 tons. These ships appear to have been possibly renamed over time as well. These are iron or wooden raft-like craft with high superstructures.

    2 - These vessels were operated by the commercial arm of the Bolivian Navy and operated outside of the country. Their fate after 1995 is unclear.
