LCT Type A
The LCT will be deployed primarily for riverine operation and troops transfer and second]y, to render fast humanitarian and rescue aid to disaster areas. LCT should operate for 15 days at a go. Therefor, the technical definition of the LCT, selection of equipment and integral logistic systems are to be provided accordingly to facilltate operations,, training, administrationa nd disaster management tasks. Country of oriqin might be USA, Canada, UK, Austria, Japan, Belgium, Denmark, France, Hungary, Italy, Ireland, Nethcrlands, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, Spain, Australia, Turkey, or South Korea.
The LCT should be constructed of shrpbuilding grade ACS certified mild steel. The specificatioo and thickness of the plates and sections will be in accordance with the requiremcnts but not less than the contractual requirement. The length should be a minimu of 65 meters and a maximum of 72 meters. The molded breadth should be a minimum of 13.5 meters, and a maximum of 14 meters. The molded depth should be a minimum of 4 meters, and the loaded draft a maximum of 3 meters. Helipad facility allowing landing of light helicopters [Bel-212 or equivalent] shall be instlaled aft.
The Car Deck should be such that it should accommodate 8 Main Battle Tanks (MBT). Dimension of each tank are 9.76 m x 3.66 m x 3.20 m (L x B x H). Adequate clearance on all sides is to be ensured for easy parklog of the tanks. Weight of each MBT to be consrdered as 50-tons. The Car Deck should be coveled having a head room clearance of 5 meters (minimum) which allow the artillery gun and and gun turret to be parked easily.
Accomodation facilities for a minimum of 20 [twenty] officers should included 2x VIP rooms, 4 x slngle rooms, 3 x twin bed and 2 x 4 bed rooms. All cabins shall be fitted with standard marine grade furniture and shall have attached toilets. Further, l x conference room, l x Dining room and l x Galley for officers have to be Provided. At lesst 40 x persons accommodation has to be provided for ship's integral crew and security personnel which should include [minimum] 4 x single rooms for vessel's integral lst class marine master driver and JCOs and 4 x twin bcd rooms forinteglal NCOs. Other rooms may be composed of 6/8/10 bunk arrangements, with 4 x Twin Bed rooms provided for transported JCOs. Cookrng, dining, bathing and toilet facilities for shrp's integral crews and soldlers shall be provided.
At loaded condition the whole LCT should have a 360 degree firing arc around it, without any obstruction by using 4 (Four) or more number of 14.5mm AAMG. The AAMG posts are to be manufactured and installed by supplier.
Bow and aft ramps should be sufficienty strengthened for loading/unloading of 50 Ton Vehicles. Starboard and port side ramps should be sufficient to load 25 Ton vehicles. The ramp door should be operated by hydraulic ramp/winch using hydraulic power pack. The location of 2 x ramps should be at the the stern & bow side to facilitatc both loading and unloading. Starboard and port srde ramps should be sulficient for B vehicles and light tanks/APCs (25T capaclty). The vehicles should be able to embark, park and drsembark fast, wrthout any difficully and on both directions [Roll-on ROll-off].
