The AN/TPS-32 Automatic Three-Dimensional Tactical Long-Range Surveillance Radar is a transportable air defense radar system that includes the Primary Radar, SSR, VHF/UHF/HF Ground to Air Communications, Power Conditioning System, Processing and Display System, Voice and Data Recording System. The radar set is a transportable, long-range, three-dimensional, computer-controlled, S-band radar, compatible with the Marine Tactical Data System. The AN/TPS-32 Radar Set is composed of three equipment shelters and a pedestal mounted antenna array.

In 1968, Marine Air Control Squadron -3 began testing the AN/TPS-32, a unique radar in that it, a single radar, provided the controller with a three-dimensional picture. Previous radars had been two-dimensional, and required a separate height finding radar to provide altitude information on contacts.

Retired from service in the United States, one such system was recently acquired by the Philippines for use with the Hawk air defense system.
